Job Description
The Day & Ross Transportation Group is currently seeking a full-time Administrative Coordinator for our Freight division in Somerville, NB.
The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for customer service; manifesting shipments to delivery units, and administrative details to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of freight.

Please note:
This position is tentatively scheduled for 8 am to 5 pm
To be successful in this role, you will exceptionally complete the following (not an exhaustive list of responsibilities):
Customer service including; greeting guests/customers, answering phone inquiries, and handling requests or complaints in a professional manner
Run reports, code missed deliveries, input bills
Review terminal cash accounts and work with customers and internal resources to resolve cash prepaid and collect issues
Work closely with external partners on the delivery and pick-up of their freight within our network
Other related duties as may be required.
To be qualified for this role, please ensure your resume clearly displays some or all of the following
Minimum of secondary education, with preference of post-secondary education in office administration or related field
1-3 years administration or customer service experience.
Experience with AS400
in the transportation industry, an asset
A suitable combination of training and experience may be considered
Good organization, scheduling and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
Knowledge of MS products, AS400 preferred, and the ability to learn new programs
Demonstrated customer relationship skills
Strong customer service and communication skills
Able to work deadlines in high transactional environment
Results focused
The working environment can include long periods of sitting at a desk and on a phone.
