Product Manager, TechnologyDepartment: TechnologyReports to: Senior Product Manager Guest ServicesLocation: North Vancouver, B.C.As the Product Manager, Technology, you will be responsible for owning the complete product lifecycle of a technology product, that supports the Guest Service business team in delivering a best-in-class experience for our guests at scale. Your responsibilities include delivering the strategic product roadmap from discovery, design, vendor selection, delivery, and support. You leverage your industry leading skills and experience in Human Centered Design (HCD) to continuously enhance our guest experiences. You lead through influence of a cross-functional agile product squad to create and execute the 12–18 month roadmap. and oversee budget and resource allocation, You will be responsible for a product's lifecycle from cradle to grave working closely with business stakeholders, development teams and/or vendors. This includes responsibility for the management of the product backlog, resourcing, work intake & prioritization, process alignment and issue resolution. If you were the Product Manager, Omni-Channel now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:Product Lifecycle:Responsible for the complete product lifecycle, including implementation, maintenance, and end-of-life. Planning version management, continuous improvement, including security management, version & patch management, and production supportCross functional leadership: Lead the cross functional product squad team of engineers, business analysts and quality assurance in the execution of the roadmap and vision ensuring tracking and timely delivery of milestones and alignment with business goals and objectives. Technology Partnership: Collaborate efficiently and effectively by building strong relationships with several cross-functional teams within the overall technology department and across the business. Product Vision: In close Partnership with the business product owner perform discovery research and provide input to the longer-term vision for a single product strategy. Business Partnership: Partners closely with business product owner to prioritize the product backlog and new backlog intakeBudget Management: Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights to optimize financial planning for the product. Monitor and control the cost of executing the roadmap, optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency.Vendor Management: Responsible for vendor relationships that support your technology products ensuring alignment with contractual agreements and service level expectations. and support the RFP process/procurement initiatives with the Senior Product Manager.Human Centered Design: Develop empathy for the guest/end-user by having the ability to incorporate Human Centered Design and guest journey mapping. Prioritize a continuous flow of feature backlog and align with product strategy. Reporting: Responsible for regular and comprehensive product status reporting of the product and communication plan to all product stakeholders and senior leaders.Execution: Responsible for executing day-to-day product strategy for a single product. Delivering sprint commitments in full.Management: Ensure risk and issue management by maintaining a RAID log and adopting an effective mitigation strategy.
