The overall objective of this position is to assemble and test Teledyne DALSA products that meet or exceed the quality expectations of both internal and external customers and provide technical leadership and experience on the production floor. The nature of production work at Teledyne DALSA requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Associates in this position should be a leader on the production floor and be able to provide guidance and support to production operators. The associate should also be knowledgeable on all production equipment in order to perform routine maintenance and production support tasks. Your responsibilities will include: Learn and follow relevant work procedures and quality procedure and maintain data records as required. Develop and maintain skills as per the production training matrix for all specific functional areas in SVS Provide guidance to production associates regarding quality, equipment issues, and work priorities Perform routine production support tasks such as, but not limited to, changing wire spools on the wire bonder and blades on the dicing saw to support production Provide In-Training instruction for new or transferred electronics/cameras assembly and test associates requiring basic training according to current 03-51 training procedures and current 03-71 operation instructions. Follow material control procedures to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies and report them Follow material handling procedures to ensure the safe handling of susceptible components or assemblies Required qualifications College Technician or Technologist’s Diploma in Electronics or equivalent 2 years of test or repair experience in the Manufacturing SU or equivalent Strong team player Possess strong written and verbal communication skills Experience in a training role, technical customer support role or equivalent Knowledge of RoadRunner, Atlas, and other production tools is an asset Please quote file number DDIPT0118 and include references with your resume.
