Location: Mississauga Description Head of Professional Services, Canada SS&C Institutional & Investment Management The Head of Professional Services for Canada will lead teams based in Mississauga, Ontario. Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate a strong track record in managing large teams, ensuring consistent and successful delivery, and the ability to work at an executive level across multiple clients (both internal and external). The Head of Professional Services is expected to lead and drive the business to the next level servicing clients to a high standard and ensuring our current success is maintained and improved upon. The successful candidate will own and be accountable for driving revenue growth and meeting revenue targets, ensuring delivery of quality services for all consulting engagements and services; recognise leads and execute new business opportunities. This role will also work closely with the Sales, Client Management and Business Heads to help identify and/or close services opportunities across both new and existing clients. This is a key managerial role, the success of which is pivotal to the overall success of the business strategy Responsibilities: Work with the line of business management team to define and execute business plan for Canada. Manage the key performance indicators for the role including revenue, margin, utilisation, client satisfaction, stakeholder satisfaction and employee morale. Ensure best practice project management techniques are deployed in the implementation of our products in to our clients Financial forecasting and reconciliation to forecast and budget Reconciliation of actual against predicted revenue and invoice recognition Develop methodologies and collateral for core services Build relationships with key clients (including CxO level) to generate Canadian services revenue streams Lead the team effectively with focus on good people management practices Critical to success will be the ability to form and manage complex matrix senior stakeholder relationships based on shared understanding and mutual agreements.These relationships will include internal partners such as Solutions, Sales & Marketing, Development and our Client partners Ultimately responsible for all project implementations within region. This includes individual ownership of managing key projects when other project management resource are fully utilised Support Business Development & Solutions teams in winning new business – this includes completion of RFPs, sizing implementations, client presentations or any other activity which aids the development of the Institutional & Investment Management business Required Skills: Prior experience of software implementation projects Broad knowledge of SS&C I&IM product range – ideally hands on experience implementing, supporting or developing SS&C I&IM products Financial industry experience, ideally with experience within investment management industry Good general knowledge of current hardware and software technologies Strong judgment, risk & issues management, and problem analysis techniques Ability to troubleshoot details while maintaining the “big picture” view Ability to manage high pressure client situations and build trust with the clients Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous issues Ability to present and communicate at a senior stakeholder level (internally & externally) Ability to synthesize and communicate complex technical, product and business issues Self-motivated, “Find a way to get it done” attitude Outstanding time management skills and attention to details Travel – including some international travel may be required with this role Desired Skills Formal qualifications project management qualification in PRINCE2, Agile or PMP Awareness and knowledge of SS&C I&IM Software Development Lifecycle SS&C Offers: Extensive Health Benefit Plan RRSP matching Program and Bonus Potential Generous Training Allowance and Tuition Reimbursement Program Candidate Referral Program Business Casual work environment Work/life Balance Close to all transit To further explore this opportunity, please APPLY NOW through our careers page on the corporate website.
